By using Inner Anchor, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language. If something is unclear, email us; don't guess.

The service

Inner Anchor is a web-based productivity app that helps you plan your day with a short task list, a purpose line, and a focus session. It's a personal tool with no team features, no collaboration, and no public sharing.

We're a small operation (one founder). The product is actively developed and may change. We'll do our best to keep it running reliably, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime.

Your account

You need an account to use Inner Anchor. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, email support@useinneranchor.com immediately.

One account per person. Don't share your account or let others use it on your behalf.

Your content

Everything you create in Inner Anchor (tasks, journal entries, and purpose lines) belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of your content. We store it on your behalf so it syncs across your devices.

We don't read, analyze, or use your content for anything other than delivering the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for specifics.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'd rather not, but if we must, we'll tell you why.

Payments and billing

Inner Anchor offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on what you choose. Prices are listed on our pricing page.

When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; you'll keep access through the end of your current billing period.

The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment for permanent access to the service, as long as the service exists. If we ever shut down Inner Anchor entirely (which we don't plan to), we'll give you reasonable notice and export access.

We may change pricing in the future. If we do, existing subscribers keep their current rate until they cancel or change plans. We'll notify you before any price change takes effect.

Free trial

New users can start with a 14-day free trial of the paid plan. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the plan you selected at signup. We'll remind you before the trial expires.

Availability

We aim to keep Inner Anchor available and fast, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime happens for maintenance, infrastructure issues, or things outside our control. We won't be liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability.

Intellectual property

Inner Anchor's design, code, brand, and content are owned by us. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the service while your account is active. Don't copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the product.

Limitation of liability

Inner Anchor is a productivity tool, not a critical system. We do our best to keep your data safe and the service running, but we're provided "as is" without warranty.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Inner Anchor is not a medical tool, therapy, or ADHD treatment. It's a task manager. If you're struggling with clinical issues, professional support can help alongside any tool.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@useinneranchor.com (self-serve deletion is on our roadmap). When your account is deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we do, we'll explain why and give you an opportunity to export your data where reasonable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For meaningful changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you disagree with the changes, you can cancel your account before the new terms apply.
